Adventures in Card Play may be the most advanced book on bridge play
ever written. It contains some really amazing hands — not the sort of
thing most of us will ever be able to put into practise at the bridge
table, but worth looking at just for sheer wonder. It is definitely not
a book for beginners, since it assumes an understanding of the
mechanisms of (compound) squeezes, end plays, and lots of other standard
techniques, as well as an ability to track multiple possibilities down
several levels.
