Evolutionary Genetics is a readable introduction to the aspects of
genetics that are most relevant to an understanding of evolution.
Detailed mathematical models are omitted in favour of biologically
interesting ideas. There are exercises at the end of each chapter,
including computer projects.
Evolutionary Genetics is the text I would
recommend for someone with a scientific and mathematical background who
wanted something with more meat than popular accounts of evolutionary
theory.
