If you are a fan of Julian May's and have been waiting for this book since you finished Intervention then you won't be disappointed with Jack the Bodiless. If you didn't like the Saga of the Exiles then you probably won't like this either. If you like science fiction but haven't read any of Julian May's novels then you should at least look at the Saga of the Exiles — nothing profound, but some cute ideas and a racing plot.
